Continuing its tradition of serving the York County, PA, community, Thornton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram sponsored High School Spirit Night at the York Revolution baseball game.

“More than $1,500 was raised to support activities at our local high schools,” said Brian Derocher, Digital Marketing Manager for Thornton CDJR. “We are very pleased to sponsor this very worthy cause in our community.”

The following schools participated in the event, according to Katie Mummert, client services assistant with the York Revolution.

• Dallastown Area High School Cheerleading - $431
• Gettysburg Area High School Cheerleading - $243
• Red Lion Area Senior High School Cheerleading - $115
• The Dance Academy of Hanover - $640
• York Catholic High School Cheerleading - $124

The total raised was $1,553 at the Sept. 21 game, Mummert added.

In addition, a Community Fireworks display held after the game was also sponsored by Thornton CDJR. The announced attendance at the game was 6,279 fans.
